Having genuine conversation is becoming incredibly difficult with people in general and so I opt for books. Thankfully I can, with years of experience of reading and writing can make out the difference between real writers, posers, charlatans, propagndists and those who write just for money. It's becoming increasingly difficult to find real writers and also writers with depth in today's times but there is enough literature especially of the pre-World War II world. Media, and especially in India, is filled with bootlickers, scoundrels and propagndists who are also skilled in art and craft of writing. It is an unfortunate fact that skill in an art or craft has nothing to do with integrity of that person as a human being and so absolute scum can produce as good art as artists or writers with integrity or in some cases way better than them due to access to more or better resources. A nation that doesn't respect it's arts and artist is bound to fail it's just matter of time and as the wealthy of this nation are accumulating wealth and resources they have started treating artists like prostitutes, not that prostitutes are bad majority of them are unfortunate victims of a corrupt and inept system. I have been exposed to the deeper system of this nation and I have realised that the soul of what rules this nation thinks of women as concubines, spoils of war and child breeding machines. There is no better way to put it. While people are hallucinating their realities composed of their needs, wants, desires and traumas while at the same time being manipulated some of us have access to the real truth. It's only and only books that are the source of genuine human connection in modern times but good and genuine writers with integrity are very few. People who are reading must be able to know the difference between wannabes and posers. Wannabes are not inherently bad they want to be someone and work for that by emulating while posers know that they would never be what they want to be and still fool people, it's about the intent some posers might still be good and just victims of imposter syndrome but their intent can be judged by, and it's true for a normal human too, knowing if they can harm others to achieve what they want and for how trivial a thing. As far as normal human interaction goes eyes tell a lot, individuals who map you with their eyes are invariably entitled assholes who apply morality on everyone except themsleves, a good man, no matter rank or position thinks of everyone as equal and has kindness in his eyes. Books are the last bastion of genuine human connection and it's just luck that books from pre-World War II era survive. I hope to find good writers in present, though it is recommended to read everything you get your hands on but only if you are ready for the consequences they entail.
