Introduction
We rarely know when we cross the line after the experiences. I started working in this field because i wanted answers. The sort of answers the normal couldn't provide me.
I note it down, jot down the details; dealing with the paranormal is heavy on the head.
I relocated to Kalpa a few years back, until the parcel arrived, i never knew that world is such a strange place. It was during the courses in the university i realized my suffering is also an ability.
I relocated to Kalpa and do a little bit farming, and solve cases of the paranormal.
I need to remind myself now and again, because it is a lonely work. Jay and Javed my two best friends at the university, went on to do their respective work. University thrives on secrecy, but it is a good institution.
I started working on the paranormal after attending the university. They say you do not need to apply for the university, the parcel arrives and if you go, you are chosen as a student. I had a heard a lot about the Saptak, they are a bunch of intellectuals, a committee, advising the university management. Some of them are posted at the satellite institutes, like Dr. Sharanya, Dr. Rajesh. Dr. Sharanya is a kind soul, she helped me when i was down, i told her that i wanted to research the paranormal, and she didn't laugh at me like others do. Everything needs research until it is proven, that's what she said to me. You can't make others believe in ghosts, not until they want to believe or them ghosts want to make them believe.
I chose to be a paranormal investigator because of my experiences. They say such things bring you under the eye of the an organization called Circus, and you come under their watch, but i can't bother much about that. Some people have helped me in my investigations, especially people from the university, though sometimes they question the lengths i go for such things. There are methods, i had invested considerable effort during the university in learning the ways. Shamita was an expert occultist in the university, and she taught me the ancient methods; to the world she is just a biochemist; to me she's a mentor. I sometimes wonder if like Shamita Saptak has a different work too, but university only tells as much as is required.
My life here is a content one. I try to solve paranormal mysteries, and do organic farming with my staff of four.
Shamita comes sometimes, mainly on the weekends to help, me and my cases. She suggested me to publish my case logs and case files as novels; fans of horror fiction would love it. That's not a bad idea at all.
I need to search the old cases and diaries; i need to find my long forgotten logs. People should know, even if as fiction, the Paranormal diaries of the Indies.
