Love is one of the basic needs of a person. A human being needs to love and to be loved. We love our parents, our siblings and our friends. We love being loved by them. But as we grow up we tend to find someone else to love, someone more on the romantic side.
Here we are talking only about romantic love. People claim that they love somebody more than their life, they can give their life (some even do that), they become obsessed about their love interest do everything they can to get their love. But sadly the affair is one sided. Love grows in between two people if the feeling is mutual. But if it’s one sided God save the sufferer.
The love prevailing now a day depends on what cell phone you are having, which car or bike you own, how much bank balance you have and how much you can showoff. A boy loves a girl and to get her he will go to all extents, he will work hard in studies, he will improve himself, he will dress nicely, and he will go beyond his limits to spend on her.
But he will never think about the people who love him the most, who will never leave him if he fails, if he gets sick, even if he misbehaves with them. They are taken for granted for a mere 'pussy' and they are no one but parents.
Romantic love starts with infatuation and it grows over you. If you are lucky enough to find a match for you then it's perfect otherwise you have got better people to love.
It's time for self actualisation.
