सूरज जब सोता है
शाम जब ढलती है रात में
आता है जब अँधेरा

Laxmi and Shakti were at Cafe Coronary, waiting for Jay's band Mrityu to come and perform. It was here they were supposed to meet him. The one who will complete Saptak and form Ashtabhuj.

Sharanya refused to have a drink. Shakti had a sip of whisky on the rocks as the band entered into the scene.

Their guy was on the bass guitar. He looked like a teenager, a hipster who had refused to grow after his teenage.

They had done enough research on his profile and probably knew more than he even knew about himself. He was a handsome boy, 6 feets tall and curly hair with an afro.

Sharanya was not amused. Laxmi was trying to understand the intricacies of the system. Things are not always like that, she wanted to tell Sharanya. Professor has been waiting for this day. Ashtabhuj-5 was assigned a very special task of handling this situation. Things had gone international and things weren't becoming better. Professor had thought of an intervention because of the involvement of pentagram and the trio. Ashtabhuj-5, was given the task. Jay wasn't ready but he has to be included.

The relic was to be found before it went to the Pentagram. The sword of Ashoka was somewhere at buried in the old city of Patliputra and had to be retrieved at the right time, before it reaches in hands of the Mackenzies.

Each relic has to be recovered in the right time according to the scriptures. Ashtabhuj-5 was scheduled for Patliputra, the mordern day Patna.

Laxmi was handling Ashtabhuj-5 from the  valley. The relic was kept at a temple in Patna after it was found by the locals. They had to reach and intervene before Pentagram comes and steals it.

There has to be a way out
The prison is too much to bear
All i can do is shout
But no one can hear

Time and tide should be favourable

And go for what i shoul have

About Jay

Jay is the protagonist of the Ashtabhuj series. His friends are Prithvi and Ali. He lived in IP city and played guitar in a band called Mrityu.

Prithvi was raised by his Dhaima after his whole family went missing in a trip while he was in a hostel.

After Dhaima's death he shifted to IP City and started playing in a band. He only has one known contact, a girl whom he calls Totto.

He was contacted by the University because of the prophecy in the recovered manuscripts.

The main emotion in Jay's life is pain. First when his family went missing and second when one 3 years senior girl he was close to was murdered.

He has a condition which keeps him in pain all the time. Carol tried to heal him but couldn't because the pain was too much for her to bear.

He was inducted in Saptak to form a new group called Ashtabhuj which fought threats, and Mackenzies', pentagram and trio.

Planning - carol

Carol is a general surgeon who works in a hospital in Goa. She was called and inducted by the university when it was recognized that she has the power to manipulate the Vital energy, Prana or chi.

She was called and inducted in the university hospital and saptak-5.

Her father is a well known surgeon in Goa. Carol lost her mother when she was 9 years old and her father and her aunt Rosie brought her up.

Planning - prithvi

Prithvi is the protagonist in the short story series Paranormal diaries of the Indies. He is the member of Ashtabhuj 6 and lives in the fictional hill town called kalpa around 3 hours journey from the valley where university and the training grounds are located.

He is an expert marksman and a skeet shooter. In Kalpa he has a few people living with him including his secretary and  manager Rohini who also accompanies him in trips where they together bust ghosts and have paranormal adventures.

Prithvi is friends with Jay and Ali. Jay is in Ashtabhuj, or saptak 5 and protagonist of the Ashtabhuj series. Vedant Mackenzie is an antihero in the same series.

The diaries are written by Prithvi himself after he completes an adventure. Paranormal and supernatural elements are in abandon in this series and somewhere it merges in the Ashtabhuj series because prithvi is called upon by the old method of parcel or pager to the university.

He is friends with _____ in the university working as a biochemist with the university and also is a proficient occultist who is part of saptak 6, and helps prithvi with his cases.

There is a hill town Gajpur where supernatural things happen and they are called for help.

Prithvi owns a jeep and lives on an isolated hill top doing farming on that hill, and growing apples and other fruits.

Prithvi is an ex-army man, who was shot in the leg and then discharged, he has a barely noticeable limp and can walk freely.

He has no family, he likes biking and has a cruiser motorbike. Earlier he used to work as a dj in a Club in IP City, when the parcel arrived for him.

Lochan thapa was the drill instructor and the incharge of the training grounds. The university trained the students of campus school and others selected for operations such as members of the saptak. The training grounds were in the middle of the forest and a (path) from the university joined both.

There were tree houses for the trainees other+++ than the students of the campus school.

The members of the first saptak were trained by Ram Bahadur Thapa, father of Lochan Thapa.
