The Mouse Trap....

The mouse was very happy coz he smelled the cheese,
He had to find it coz he got bored eating peas.
He sniffed everywhere and a mouse trap he sees,
He was so over-confident thought he could do it with ease.

He looks in and 'yum' he said,
It was a chunk of cheese with a piece of bread.
He goes inside, "clik,whack!"he just saved his head,
but the tail was still stuck, he thought "I''m dead".

"The peas were better", he thought in his mind.
He was dumbstruck with the pain in his hind.
He tried a lot to get away but the time was not so kind,
Then he saw the cat coming from behind.

"Please god help me", give me last chance,
He prayed in his heart well in advance.
The cat looked at him and held her stance,
"Dear little mousie it's time for romance".
